Treasured Garment Restoration Team

Polly Nemec


Certified Wedding Gown Specialist and Specialty Sales. Polly holds a B.A. degree from Hamline University. In 2008, Polly was responsible for the vision and starting the specialty niche business in TGR, while keeping the focus on core values of high-quality cleaning and excellent customer service.

She has served on the international Board of Directors for the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists and is currently the President of the Minnesota Cleaners Association.

Duane Schumann

Restoration Production Manager

Duane is a Certified Professional Wet Cleaner (CPW), Master Spotter and Certified Wedding Gown Specialist. Over the past 20 years, he has established himself as an expert in the cleaning of wedding gowns, costumes and in the restoration of specialty clothing and textiles that have been damaged by age, fire or water. He has been recommended by the textile conservator at the Minnesota Historical Society.

Monica Zaun

Wedding Alterations & Design

Monica went to Holy Angels in Richfield with the nuns! After graduation, she attended the U of MN and got a degree in Clothing Design with a minor in textiles. She started sewing when she was 5 making Barbie dresses by hand and learned to sew from her mom. By the time she graduated high school she had already sewn several wedding gowns and prom dresses.  Monica’s favorite thing about her job is the joy and happy tears of a bride who feels amazing in her dress!

Julie Terwey

Wedding Gown Specialist

Julie is a University of Minnesota grad with a degree in Applied Design. She loves seeing and handling handmade textiles and the talent that goes into making them. Julie is also a certified master knitter/crocheter by the American Craft Council.

Kathryn Clobes

Wedding Gown Specialist

Kathryn’s passion is in design. She’s a graduate of Iowa State in Apparel Merchandising and Design. Kat loves seeing costumes come in and assisting in wedding dress alterations. Her favorite part about design is the variety of textures you can work with and manipulate to create beautiful pieces.

Roxanne Robinson

Alterations & Wedding Gown Specialist

Roxanne received her first sewing machine when she was about 6 years old. Her first custom garments were for Barbie! It doesn’t make a difference if it is a pair of jeans or a wedding dress, Roxanne finds great satisfaction in personalizing a garment for someone. Her specialties include wedding gowns, prom dresses and dance costumes
